Please keep the Jones and Johnson families in your prayers during their time of bereavement. Our classmate, Beulah Jones Campbell's sister, Diane J. Johnson passed this weekend.

Please extend your heartfelt condolences to our classmate, Delphene Baker-Oliver.  Her mother Mrs. Julia Ann Baker passed this week.  The service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church.  Let us keep the Baker family in our prayers.

Samuel, Theodore

Samuel, Mr. Theodore, a resident of Tuskegee, AL, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 in Tuskegee, AL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at 11 A.M. from The Tuskegee University Chapel with Rev. Steven Carson officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery with The Peoples Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Helen Harrison Samuel; 3 children, Valerie (Sammy) Crawford, Darryl (Charlotte) Samuel, and Sheila Samuel; 3 grandchildren, Adam Clayton Brown, Kaitlin Sanaa Samuel, and Gabrielle Janay Samuel; 1 brother, Lowell Samuel; 2 brothers-in-law, Willie (Essie) Harrison, Jr. and Michael (Marion) Wilson; 4 sisters-in-law, Mary Turner, Yvonne Harris, Dorothy Carpenter, and Mable Smith; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, co-workers, and many friends. Visitation was Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. at The Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.

Classmates, it is a sad moment for us.

Our high school principal, Mr. Theodore Samuel, transitioned into eternity this evening, November 15,2016.
The Class of 1977, was his first graduating class.  For that we hold a special bond with Mr. Samuel.

Let us keep his family and the entire Tuskegee/Macon County uplifted in prayer.

Greetings TIHS Class of 1977:

Once every five years, our class is committed to reuniting together as a group. Since the early 80’s, this tradition has spanned over 35 years.  As 2017 ushers in a new year, it also marks the 40th year since we graduated from Tuskegee Institute High School.

Maybe you have never attended a high school reunion over the years, but I challenge you to look deep within your heart and soul and recall those memories that still makes you laugh out loud when no one is around or whether you are in a crowded room.  Wouldn’t you love to spend time with old friends and say “remember when…”  Now’s your chance to do that.  

Our chairperson, Jackee Harris Kimbro, and her committee are planning a spectacular 40th Class reunion and it wouldn’t be the same without you!  If you haven’t already, save the date, June 30 - July 2, 2017.  It  promises to be a very fun, exciting and amazing weekend!
