In Memory

Janice Williams (Davis)

Janice Ophelia Williams-Davis was born August 8, 1959 in Valley, Alabama to the late Robert Grady and the late Susie M. Williams.

She attended school in West Point, GA. She moved to Tuskegee, AL where she graduated from high school and furthered her education at Atlanta Medical & Dental College. She
later joined the Army serving admirably before marrying. In that marriage she gave birth to two children. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.
She was employed with the DeKalb County Family and Children Services before migrating to Morehouse School of Medicine where she worked for over 15 years.
Janice loved poetry, travel, and life but most of all she adored the Lord. Celebrating for any reason with family and friends brought her the brightest smile.

She leaves with us a legacy of love, unsurmountable strength and very special memories of her laughter, joy and determination.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roderick Grady and a sister, Deborah Rudd.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Jeanetta Shelane Davis and one son, Roberto Andre' Davis; one grandson, Kayden James Davis; eight sisters, Betty E. Williams of
Lithonia, GA, Marion (Richard) Brown of Stone Mountain, GA, Ruby (Eddie) Nail of Ellenwood, GA, Jeanette Buckhannon of Opelika, AL, Linda Brooks of Valley, AL, Katheryn Grady of
Lanett, AL, Alicia Grady of Johns Creek, GA and Sherri Grady of Johns Creek, GA; one brother, Warren Grady of West Point, GA, a host of nieces and nephews, other close family members and friends.
